GARY BINGHAM NAMED AS HOCKEY DIRECTOR AT GRUNDY ARENA

December 20, 2024 (BRISTOL, PA) - The Grundy Senators Youth Hockey Program and Grundy Ice Arena are thrilled to announce the appointment of Gary Bingham as Hockey Director. Gary brings a wealth of knowledge and youth hockey management experience to the Grundy program.

Gary is a Level 5 USA Hockey certified coach who previously served as the Hockey Director and Head Coach of the Connecticut Oilers AAA program. In addition to his hockey director experience, Gary coached prep hockey at Rye Country Day School and University School in Ohio. Gary has also worked with NHL programs such as the Washington Capitals as the Assistant Director of Community Relations and was a youth hockey coach for the NY Rangers where he was an on-ice instructor with the learn to play and beginner hockey programs.

“Gary’s experience as an academic teacher, hockey coach and club director will provide tremendous value to our players from learn to play hockey through 18U travel and beyond. Gary will make an immediate impact on our Senators program and I am excited to work with him to grow our youth hockey programs” said General Manager Mike McVey.

Gary will oversee all hockey programming at Grundy Ice Arena, including grassroots hockey programming, camps and clinics, coaching education and the Senators Tier II travel program.
